What is the HighEdWeb Conference?
HighEdWeb is the annual conference for all higher education Web professionals—from programmers to marketers to designers to all team members in-between—who want to explore the unique Web issues facing colleges and universities.
Who runs HighEdWeb?
HighEdWeb is the official conference of the Higher Education Web Professionals Association, an organization of Web professionals working in higher education to design, develop, manage and map the futures of higher education Web sites. The Association’s mission is: "To advance Web professionals, technologies, and standards in higher education."
I work with the Web via marketing/admissions/alumni/etc — should I still attend?
Absolutely! Presenters and attendees for past HighEdWeb conferences come from public and private universities of all sizes, are housed in a great variety of departments, and hold diverse titles such as Web developer, marketing coordinator, programmer/analyst, graphic designer, director of Web communications, information services librarian and beyond. If you work in higher education and work with the Web, this conference is for you.

What kinds of presentations can I expect at HighEdWeb?
Presentations address a broad range of the latest issues of interest for higher ed Web professionals. 2011 sessions covered a variety of topics.
Tracks are adjusted each year to meet the always-changing needs of the profession. As well, the conference also offers exciting keynotes and guest speakers, and extended pre- and post-conference workshops.
Can I present at the conference?
Yes. You can submit your presentation proposal via the Call for Proposals page. All proposals regarding the Web and higher education are welcome.
How do I register?
Online registration will open spring 2012, and continue until September 30, 2012, or until the conference registration is full.
How can I get a discount on my conference registration fee?
Register before July 31, 2012, to get the early-bird discount pricing. Also, presenters receive a discount on their registration fees so be sure to send in a presentation proposal. Please note that we do not offer a group/same-institution discount at this time.

HighEdWeb 2012 will be held October 7-10 at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
