What do we mean when we talk about "the web"? It is helpful to start with a solid and shared understanding of the different pieces that make up today's higher education web sites to effectively govern within institutions and communicate between them. This presentation reviews the taxonomy introduced in the April 2012 Link article. From there, the framework will be applied to such tasks as policy development, defining individual and unit responsibilities, and the assessment of organizational needs.
