When an Hour Becomes a Second: The Art of Time-lapse Videos
First floor foyer, Frontier Airlines Center
Time-lapse videos are becoming more and more common in the television and movie industry, allowing viewers to see content in a way they never have before. The art of time-lapse may appear easy on the surface but it's truly a technical video medium that requires creativity and dedication. Join Christopher Judge for this poster session as he reviews how a time-lapse video is created, shows examples of well-made time-lapses and provides key takeaways that will allow you to produce your own time-lapse videos. Judge will also create a time-lapse from the poster session itself that you'll be able to view after the conference -- don't miss it!
Videographer, Providence College
I graduated from Providence College in 2005 and became a Graducate Assistant in our Athletics department. While working for Athletics, specifically the Basketball team, I developed a love for video. That love carried over into my next role as the PC Athletics Equipment Manager, at which time I began doing video work for PC. I also began doing freelance video work for the Pawtucket Red Sox, which I'm still heavily involved with. Shortly after assuming the role of Equipment Manager, I was offered the opportunity to join this web team, and have been in my role since July 2011.
